The ULTRA Ecologists Tall Pan Trap Kit. Novel design enables simple pan height adjustment from near ground up to the maximum height of the 1.2m post. 

Kit (without pans) comprises: -

1 x 4-piece collapsible 1.2m x 6mm DIA solid steel post (screws together)

1 x point-ended threaded ground spike (to optimise ease of ground insertion in hard arable land)

1 x PotMagic patented height-adjustable 3-pan ring holding joint (screws onto top of post and can be height adjusted instantly simply by rotating joint up or down the post).

3 x PotMagic 12.5cm DIA pan rings (4-7 inch expandable)

To fit, simply tightly screw up to 4 pieces of the 1.2m post together, fit the point-ended threaded ground spike (optional) and insert into ground in desired location. For maximum height screw all 4 pieces together. Once in the desired location, simply adjust the PotMagic patented height-adjustable 3-pan ring holding joint to the desired height by rotating it up or down the post, and finally slot in the 3 pan holder rings into holes as shown. 

To adjust pot holding ring size, simply stretch to desired size up to 7 inches. Appropriate for pan traps, plastic plant pots, etc.

Pot holding ring angle is also adjustable as desired.

Delivery

Arrives in a flat 25mm x 190mm x 300mm recycled cardboard box. Bulk orders will be bulk packed in polythene bags into a larger outer carton to minimise cardboard waste.

Removable for cleaning and space saving.

PotMagic is the only field surveying / garden set that allows pan heights to be fully adjustable in millimeter heights. It also has removable pan / pot holding rings, meaning you can easily remove the rings for safety, cleaning or polishing, or to keep in the ecologist's shed or garage when not in use. To remove the rings, simply lift out of the retaining 3-way joint.
